How should we measure success?
I have had this conversation with many people from completely different back grounds over the past few years. Answers range from, how much you can drink to how successful your children are,which girl gave the best head to being the best baker known to man.
I think we need to look at this question in a different light and see it as how do ''i'' measure ''my'' success, or do i at all?
how many people out there do a good dead or achieve something they worked hard on to find that the praise of others means nothing if you dont know how to take it. measuring success again i think needs to come down to the individual. i think thats why after asking this question to myself this morning i realise that nobody could actually have a wrong answer. alot of us tend to compare with our pairs when it comes to this topic, and unfortunately money is always going to be in the mix. so how do we determine wealth from success?
in my opinion that really comes down to the individual again not everyone is material driven so wealth in the form of riches may not even be that appeaseing. on the other hand people will tie them all together and think right you have money therefore you are successful. how do we know though you havnt slept your way to the top or your parents got you somewhere you didnt have the skills or brains to in the first place. maybe thats how these people measure their success, by how well the opened there legs or how many notes met the right mans pocket. who knows?
this post today is really just about telling you to just stop and think for a second before you think that your not successful or that you are worthless EVERYBODY has worth in this world its weather or not you will accept that for what it is and not judge it on somebody elses achievements.
the world is messed up enough without judegement for the sake of judgement
